Elaichi

Elaichi, commonly known as cardamom, is a cherished spice in Indian cuisine, renowned for its unique flavour and aromatic qualities. Often referred to as the “queen of spices,” elaichi comes in two main varieties: green and black. Green elaichi is more prevalent and is used in both sweet and savoury dishes, while black elaichi adds a smoky depth to recipes.
